Hi all, can you please give me some advice.
I received one of these this a.m with photographic evidence that my car out-stayed the Lidl car-park by 12 minutes.
I am to be charged £90 or £45 if I pay in the next 14 days.
My question is do I have to pay it? Is It legal?
Thanks

Ignore and throw in the bin...end of story.0

As its the car in the photo and not the driver who's going to pay it. You don't know who was driving that day do you???I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Thanks all, I was so worried and just about to write a cheque then decided to post on here first.0

The DVLA will sell to anyone who wants it and is willing to pay £2.50. It's big bucks for the DVLA.0 -

Quite.
Councils generally don't need to know. In the case of parking, they pursue the RK. And in the case of something like, say, littering from a car, there's no obligation to tell them who the driver (or litterer) was.0 -
I have been ignoring all the letters I have received from Athena, but today I have received one from:
LRC (Legal recoveries & collections LTD) advising me to make payment of £115 or go to court. Please can anyone advise me further? Would I still be ok to ignore?
Thanks0
