Best way to sell my old car?
Hi, I haven't sold a car privately for some long time, before the internet anyway. Could anyone give me any tips on the best way to sell it. It's a Renault Megane - X Reg - automatic, with very low mileage (32k). I'd like to get the best I can for it, but I don't know whether to just put it in the paper, like in the olden days! or on the internet? Or even just go to a dealer. It's a very good looking silver car, and there is nothing wrong with it, except that the hub caps have suffered a bit. Any advice out there for me?
Thanks.
Thanks.

paper in the car window and then put an add in the local papers, i find the local papers better than the net for selling cars0

Also shell out £15 for some new hub caps. Anything you can do to make it look nice is worth it.
I don't know how much it is, but you can't go wrong with Autotrader!0 -
and dont sell to friends, relatives or neighbours!!!!!!!;) Am thinking of a new one:beer:0

Thanks for the useful replies. The thing about the hubcaps is true. Why are people so hung up on hub caps. Any idea where to get some cheap ones? for a Renault. I was thinking about a scrap dealer. May have a ring round.0

Because it is a surefire indication of bad driving skills, kerbing the wheels usually, which also results in damage to the side walls of the tyres, and often the tracking of the steering.
It is usually, but not always, a female trait.
