They are expensive, but I think they're worth the money as an occasional treat. I've tried cheap bath bombs for instance which were OK for everyday use, but you feel nice and pampered and special with Lush stuff. I love birthdays and Christmas because I get loads of the stuff as presents :j

I don't really get the whole pampering thing so I guess I'm never going to understand the attraction of places like Lush.

Am I the only one who thinks their products are horrendously over-priced?
    .

I first found Lush almost 10 years ago, I would agree with you that they seem pricey

    However,

I love that they use fresh and natural ingredients. I can pay £4 for a lipbalm with a synthetic and chemically coconut scent or I could pay the same money for a product I know contains real coconut. I have not set foot in the Body Shop since I found Lush because IMO there is no comparison.

I love that the keep packaging to a bare minimum, which is good for the environment and that they use as little preservative as possible. The quality is fab and in all the years I have been using them I have never had a single problem. Everytime I buy something they normally throw in a sample of something else, eg bath ballistic. I have asked a couple of times for samples of face packs before I buy and it has never once been a problem. I love Lush :j

I adore Lush as well - and all my female friends and family members do as well which makes Christmas/birthday pressie buying v. easy :j
I bought the Rock Star box for my friend who lives in Germany and she was absolutely ecstatic with it - they dont have anything like that over there and she particularly adored the popcorn that is used in the boxes!!!! :D

I dont think their stuff is pricey.... but I will admit it is a treat for me if anything.

I know how you feel, I emailed them once and never got a reply.

I think my email might of gone in there spam folder or something!

My DSO wrote a LETTER to Lush after a pot of 'gloop' separated, not even a reply.

It would appear that it may be pot luck with customer service, or at least not a universally good customer service.

Best bet is to ring them, they are so lovely and helpful on the phone, and nothing is too much of a problem for them.
  • Lush are brilliant, as well as the sister company - B Never Too Busy to be Beautiful - I recieved a B order once with an eyeshadow that had smashed in transit, they sent a replacement immediately without even quibbling it. I also recieved a Vanillary solid perfume once that had melted and bubbled in transit. I sent a picture and they sent a replacement no problem. they are, without a doubt, my favourite company and it's always a pleasure to buy from them
