help with screen please

Sorry - don`t know terminology.The bit at the top of my screen - where i type in which site i want to go to - has vanished,along with the forwards/backwards etc arrows.How do i get them back?All my kids have gone to their mothers and i`m pretty u/s without them.

View>Toolbars choose which ones

I assume you have Internet Explorer:

Go to the View menu / select Toolbars / select Address Bar (so the tick appears next to it).

That should do it
