xycom1 wrote:Oh, yeah sometimes it says 'Points balance not available' or something like that? Complete PITA when that happens as it means you can't redeem the points during that store visit.

Its actually when the whole club card server is down, this happens quite regularly actually, its nothing to do with the actual tills. It hasn't been down in a while, maybe because BT have to pay WHSmith whenever there is downtime of a service.0 -
Actually it did show a balance, just 750 points less than expected. Will ring today and let you know what they say later.
Surely I don't deserve to have them taken off of me if I was told by the supervisor I could use as many as I like, and only used 6-7?! Hardly fraud on my part.0 -

6 or 7 lol thats quite a lot if you ask me. I would say 2 or 3 would be more reasonable, and then just repeat it next week, it would soon build up0 -
i agree, 6 to 7 is a LOT i literally only used each coupon once...:A Boots Tart :A0

For future referance on these, they can only be used in main high street stores and not `travel' branches ie railway stations and airports.
Thanks ncd, I didn;t know other retailers did 'ClubCard Points' thought it was just a Tesco thing.....silly me :think:you know when you're getting older - the wife says, "let's go upstairs and make love" and you reply, "I can't do both" !!0 -
Ah. I see. Maybe it was the way she first said I could use as many as I like that made me feel 6-7 wasn't alot, I did contemplate taking a lot more (20 or so-to buy a couple CD's I'd like with the points) as she seemed quite keen for me to use them (her emphasise on as many). Oh well. Will only use each coupon once from now on, I really thought it was fine to use a few.
Still havn't rung about missing points.0 -
I printed out a load of coupons from the net and passed them on in the office in work. I kept about 10 for myself which I intended to use but they expired on 9th April. I must check see if there are new ones on their website.
