not sure what I will do with all my time when this comp ends. Probably have to visit the dentist and get some dentures. I'm getting so used to those LEMs, it'd be lonely without them! (although I'm sure winning the phone would help me with my solitude!)

I just wanted to be nosey really.
Was that the comp where you ended up with RSI playing a game, I didn't have anybody to play with and only did the practise game - I wasn't very good at it.
Now for the nosey bit, did play.com not realise that MSN were doing this comp, if they did, did they only expect people to win 1 or 2 vouchers or do they just think the vouchers themselves have been forged? I may be really confused but could you or Mr Butterfly not get any proof from MSN to say you won them fair and square, they must have a record of vouchers won? Fraud, that's a strong word, I'd be right fed up too. Has anyone contacted MSN and told them of the problem. I bet there's a whole thread on here somewhere that tells all this but I bet I missed it again:rotfl:

Hi soblivion - I'm not the only person to have this problem with Play.com. I think Scruples was the first MSE'er to have the Fraud Dept involved - it is just so annoying!

I had to phone up to verify every single order before they would post it out and now that they've all been sent they've referred it to the fraud section Ridiculous.

Honestly, I don't know why people can't run promotions properly. THe woman on the phone to my husband had never even HEARD of the MSN game! Not her fault but somebody should have thought to inform Play.com that they were actually running a promotion! :rotfl:

As for proof of the wins, I have emails from MSN with the codes in and also screenshots of each win - but they are not asking for them. They have accepted that we are not trying to defraud them (seriously, if I WAS, I wouldn't be doing it with £10 vouchers that can't even be combined :rolleyes:) and have reinstated the account.

BUT the reason it is even more :mad: is that the last couple of orders were placed through Play trade - so Play.com have have actually contacted the sellers and told them not to sell to us and to refund our money and basically blacklist us! And now WE have to contact the sellers and ask them if they will still sell to us after being branded fraudsters by Play

Ohhhhh! purplebutterfly how poorly run is that?
How awful to blacklist someone without any proof, you'd think after speaking to Scruples and no doubt others who maybe aren't MSE members too that play.com must have realised it was thier mistake.
I can understand them wanting to be careful but a polite phonecall and a few words with MSN would have cleared it up nicely. How rubbish for you and scruples too. It's horrible when a win is marred like that.
I actually remember thinking when I was reading the thread that you'd all be able to get some great xmas presents with those vouchers.
Hope it all gets sorted properly and play and MSN learn from it too.

I have had so many LEMs and losing texts from the Pepsi phone comp I think Pepsi are just randomly sending them to me to annoy me :mad:. I got a losing text from them at 2pm today, strange thing is I haven't entered a code for 4 days. I had accepted that I was hopeless at this comp and given up. They obviously couldnt resist telling me I haven't won yet again ... the barstools:rotfl:
