I have just noticed blackfly on my courgette plants which have only just started producing flowers, what can I do?
I would like to get rid of them now before they get too bad, preferably not insecticides. I can't easily rub them off without damaging the plant.

jet them off with soapy water as the organic solution to this. normally, you don't get aphids on courgettes.. maybe if you grow a sacrificial plant like nasturtiums, this will attract the aphids, and leave your precious plants alone..0

yes a little washing up liquid (not antibacterial) with a crushed garlic clove in a spray bottle topped up with water and spray this on undersides of leaves on any plant should do the trickSave saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives.:j0
