I know it's a strange question but does anybody know if there is an adapter available so that I can slot my ISA card into my PC that doesn't have an ISA slot.
For example something like a USB to ISA adapter!

try a google search for PCI ISA adapter much more likely than a USB one

but why bother its likely to cost mere than a new card anyway and may well be flaky or limited as wellTANSTAAFL !0 -
It's a GPIB card ~ £400-£6000

Another tax year, another ISA question
I agree with Jim. Anything old enough to be on a ISA card is likely to be a PoC. It would be cheaper to buy a replacement PCI one.0 -
You can get USB GPIB cards nowadays, if you specifically need that type of card. What are you trying to connect or test with it?0

I investigated usb to PCI options and the cost was huge - £500 for a single PCI slot. There are these - I don't know if the're very widely available and as it says you have to write the device program yourself:

I know that it's possible ti buy USB GPIB cards now, but they cost over £450 from what I can see. I already have 2 GPIB cards which are for the ISA slot on my PC but I want to upgrade the PC and use the same GPIB cards - therefore at no extra cost. I was rather hoping that there might be a cheap ISA to USB adapter, oh well!0 -

Why not just buy a 2nd separate PC and use the GPIB enabled one in some sort of client-server mode?
In the meantime, I'd buy a couple of back-up motherboards with ISA sockets on them while there is still stock on EBay.0
