in bad debt please help

I am under 8k debt of virgin credit card

i transfered this balance to virgin from other cards 9 months ago

my free period ends this month

I dont know what to do.....if i can buy sometime then i might be able to pay this off as my business as a sole trader is picking up

Please martin lewis if you happen to read this thread advise me

Hi, you've (almost) come to the right place.
This particular forum is for talking about credit cards, not the debt associated with the credit cards.

You need to have a read through the balance transfer article

This will advise on where to move your balance to next so you can keep the interest either 0% or a life of balance rate card.

You will not be able to transfer to any MBNA cards or cards run by MBNA as Virgin are part of this stable.

Credit card approvals and limits are down at the moment though so you might not be able to move the whole lot across.

If this is the case, move what you can, pay the min payment on this new balance each month and hammer the left over balance at your old card.
