By applying for a Priority Club Credit Card and using it once (paying it off immediately, of course) you will be credited with 10,000 points which is enough for a room for two including breakfast. By getting members of my family to jump on board, I have accumulated five nights so far. [glow=red,2,300]By my reckoning, having provided us with breakfast (mega munch continental) and a free newspaper, Holiday In are paying us to stay the night.[/glow]
Do not transfer points between accounts, just book the accommodation on whoever's account in your family still has points. They do not care who turns up.
Their website no longer accepts on-line applications for UK residents, but as many application forms as you want may be obtained from the hotels direct.

These people are in a mess. A few weeks ago they sent a letter advising an increased interest rate. It said "this is happening because we've taken a closer look at how you've been managing your account lately, as well as other financial information we have". I though this a bit weird as there should have been no change in my credit worthiness but I have been using the card less recently.
When I asked for clarification on the phone they said it was just routine and badly phrased. However their letter of apology made it worse it said "based on information relating to your account with us and also the regular updates we receive from the credit referencing agency, in this case Equifax."
According to Equifax my rating is "Excellent".
They have got an added message on their phones apologising for the letter and it seems their switchboard has been busy!
I have written again (I haven't time for another 40 minute wait on the phone) asking if they think my credit status has changed.
Does any one know if anyone at PCR Visa has been sacked for creating all this mess?0
