Lightweight strimmer
Options
I have recently moved to France and my garden is on quite a steep incline with various trees and bushes dotted about.
The only way of cutting the grass is with a strimmer, and because of the bushes etc., it will have to be a petrol one and not electric as the cord would get caught up.
I have only ever used a small electric strimmer for cutting the edges of my lawn when I was in England, so don't know anything about petrol strimmers.
Whatever I choose must be lightweight as I'm on my own and quite a short lady and not as young as I used to be!
Strimmers etc are very expensive out here, so I've been looking at UK sites and it looks to me as though the Flymo XLT 250 petrol strimmer is ideal as it only weighs 3.5 kgs.
Does anyone know anything about it? I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere. Also, does anyone know of a supplier who ships to France?
Many thanks for any advice
