AVI - MP3 Conversion

Hi there, I have an AVI Video file of a music concert that I'd like to convert to an MP3 so I can listen to it on my MP3 player.. Any ideas what application I can use to do that? Preferably a free one :-)

VirtualDub will do the job, it can take a little getting used to though, it's not the most intuitive application. I find it great though, well worth the time in learning how to use it.0
