Got to agree with other posters about Dabs. Up until a couple of years ago they were great. I used to order everything from them.
Now it's near impossible to speak to anyone if you have a problem and my 'customer service' by email was poor. It's just too much hassle when there are other online stores out there providing a better service at the same price.
Shame, they used to be tops for components etc.0 -
They answered my email by saying they didn't answer emails and not to send them duplicate emails.
They then sent me their poxy email....twice.
I hope someone else can help me by end next week as I am not going dabsing, that's for sure!0 -

da@dabs.com is the one I have
I would buy from dabs again, the number of items I have bought in the past from them without problems is huge except the CPU being wrong but it was sorted eventually.
If they are the only source at a reasonable price I have the bonus that I could go up there and protest untill I see someone if it went really wrong. hear are alot of bad things said against them but never the positive things and I will assume that they sell alot of stuff everyday going on the fact that trucks collect from them daily, it is just unfortunat people never tell you about the good times.
When the company I worked for built the pc's they had a huge sales team because the pc's could be custom built, we noticed the number of pc's dieing off and realised they were selling more off the shelf pcs where you just chose the model you wanted so the sales team moved over to the business sales and the team was reduced to pretty much 0 and the ones they kept suposedly do everything by email cheaper for dabs. they also didnt need to pay us for bulding them, the cost of picking the bits and driving the over to our building in Bolton it was a whole lot cheaper to sell boxes rather than build pc's. unfortunalty you no longer get the option of picking the operating system on your cheap laptop or pc it will be XP home and you need to buy an upgrade from them (saving p+p) so they get even more money from them.0
