Very disappointed in the Passport Service's Courier service!!

You have to be careful with these new passports because the chip in them breaks easily. My OH's passport chip has broke so we have to either
1. send it off for 10 weeks while they decide why it broke and who's fault it is then apply for a new passport
2. pay for a new passport and don't bother sending it off
He has only had the passport 18 months!
Unbelievable.
