I understand that I can get a portable external harddrive to back everything up on my PC every night?
Does anyone know how much they are, which one is the best value for money and easiest to use?
(I will need it to back up every day and would prefer not to drag and drop, as I will be updating certain files and dont want to have to sort through which ones to copy)

You could get one like this which works out about £55, and has 500gb of space. Apparently it includes special back-up software, which may be beneficial for you. Branded ones (LG and the like), also of 500gb, start at about £70.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Use Microsoft's Synctoy for the backup schedule.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Now I am getting really confused - what should I do?0 -
Why don't you just go for a usb pen drive - you can get them for about £10 for a 2 gig one from ebay.
Then just back up your important files onto that.0
