Do standing orders affect credit rating?

I was considering setting 1 or 2 up, eg for rent, which is a set amount (duh) per month. I already have a direct debit for my internet dongle. I am trying to improve my rating and although my internal score with my bank is good, according to them, my overall credit rating is bad, and I am already trying to rectify that by having written notes of correction to the relevant credit reference agencies. Anyway....would a standing order (obviously paid every month with no problems) improve my credit score or just make no difference at all? TIA for any helpful answers given.

No difference at all, I'm afraid.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

OK, thanks. I won't bother with the standing order for now, then.
