You should really be enquiring with whichever agent/company you booked the holiday with. It will be in their terms and conditions as to whether they can give you a full or partial refund or not.0
-
Why cannot she go on holiday?
Credit card will only protect you if the company went down. If they did not deliver the goods. If the company failed you basicaly.
It's not so you can change your mind about going on holiday...0 -
she has said she cant go because she just found out she is pregant! and i no that is no excuse.0

Did you pay for the full holiday, or just the deposit? Quite often you only lose the deposit if that is the case. It depends on the holiday provider's T&C.
I suggest you read them, I am sure there will be cancelation policy explaining fully this.
BTW pregnant women can fly up to 6th month of pregnancy or something like that (unless she is on risk pregnancy)0 -
It depends how far away the holiday is.
If it was booked a long way in advance then you will probably lose the deposit.
In the last 6/8/10 weeks then there is unsually a sliding scale, so you will need to consult the terms and conditions.
The person that paid is liable.
But morally if your friend agreed then she should pay what is owed to your dad's girlfriend.0 -
it was all payed full there was no deposts. yes i no they can fly she just does not want to! it is really getting to me. i read the t&c of easyjet they said she would be liable to pay her hotel her trasferes and her insurance but she would only have to pay £20 for her flight or something like that.0

If its easy jet then they wont budge0

Well in that case she is fully liable to pay whatever there is to pay. You shouldn't be worried, she should realise that as it is her choice not to go on holiday now she must accept the consequences of changing her mind.
TBH if she refuses to pay I would no longer want to be her friend.
I understand it might be difficult for her with being pregnant and everything (I suppose you are both just a youngsters as you had to use dad's girlfriend's credit card) but that is no reason for you to end up with the cost!!0
