Hi Techie people!.
I'm very interested in purchasing couple of these gadgets, they are available at about 99 dollars each. (the middle of the road one seems to be the MYVU SHADES 301, and the top of the range Crystal, is out of my price range, but seems to have full res image) i will be doing some long haul travel and boring long drives and train rides for work for a few months in the next while and thought these would be a good investment. i have a lot of my movies transferred over to my ipod and would have thought it a great way to pass a few hours..
has anyone any advice, or are there other options. i would be interested in these ones, primarily cos they are designed for ipod and u can buy a splitter ( i have 2 kids but only 1 video ipod) that allows 2 to watch at the one time.
i'm wondering if anyone has seen, used, or has any opinions, for instance is the lower resolution picture in the Shades mode (320 X 240, as opposed to Crystal which is 640 x 480) an alright buy for someone like me who wouldnt be the fussiest in the world and insist on full HD type image. and also what is the image like, sizewise etc etc. i have read differing reviews.
many thankyous.

$99 seems a lot to pay for a migraine.0

yea you're probably right but these ones are by far the cheapest of this kind of thing on the market. the crystal version from myvu for instance are 299, a bit of a jump for the increased quality of picture, and also seem to have downsides from the other models, depending on what u want.
i do like the idea of them however, and believe me when you've watched 6 hours (between flights at a middle eastern airport with fekall else to do except pretend you're interested in buying a rolex or a porsche or people watch) of movies on your 2 x 2 ipod screen, anything else would be a godsend.0 -
Buy a used PSP or iPod Touch; they have much bigger screens than an iPod Classic; they both kept me company on my last trans-Atlantic flight.0
