Bank charges help

Hi, I need alittle help if anyone can so here goes,

I sent a letter (the one u d/l) to Halifax saying I wanted to reclaim the £2270 of charges they had from me, they said it was suspended blah blah, but now I need it I have had a few more charges since and am £300 over my £650 overdraft. I also have fines that amount up to£300 from other things like parking that shouldve been paid along time ago, i have about £9000 in loans and credit card which are bieng delt with by a debt mangement compony and I am 2months sort of £500 rent so £1000 for both months, plus my car has just been taken to the scrapyard as it broke down and I work 13 miles from home.

As you can see this is pretty bad do you think if I explained this to my bank for financial hardship they would look at my case if so what would be my best bet to go about it?.

Thanks.

best bet i think would be to write to your bank reiterating your claim, adding the new charges in, and tell them you would now, because your circumstances have worsened and the charges arent helping matters, like them to look at your claim under financial difficulty exemptions of the fsa waiver. I'd tell them basically what you have said above but attach your income and expenditure sheet and if possible evidence of rent arrears.

They don't have to refund you although they may consider something to help with the rent if your Income expenditure shows its reasonable you couldn't pay it. Otherwise they will look at things like cancelling dds and using other methods of payment, moving you to a basic account etc.
