Decorators Quote - sound about right?

Hi All,

We live in a modern end of terrace house in th Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire and want to get some decorating done.

To paint our front lobby, hall, stairs, and landing including 10 doors on both sides we have been quoted £795. Does this sound about right? The quote includes all the prep work, undercoat, all paint for walls, doors, skirting board, ceilings, bannister etc. and is fully inclusive.

I suppose it doesn't sound too bad just wanted to get other peoples views before I sign up!

Its not a bad price TBH, as there is the frames, spindles I would imagine, treads etc, plus he is supply all the materials.

I would get it in writing lol, in case he realises he has undercharged a bit lol.

that is a decent price tbh, i'm getting outbid on lots of jobs just now, so there must be someone out there working for peanuts because i'm going in cheap to land some work.

get a couple more and compare

Yeah that sounds about right OP. Think you have got a reasonable price there.:o
