Hi there
Am looking to buy some strong postage bags that would be suitable for packaging jeans in. Any ideas as to some companies I could check out?!?
Thanks!

Maybe you could just bubble wrap them then double-wrap with brown postage paper... Should do the job and is cheap. Just a suggestion though. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

I bought the blue metallic ones from ebay. £8.85 per 100 and no delivery. They're slightly larger than A4 and I've managed to fit all of my clothes parcels into these so far. Hi,
I was looking for the same thing to post clothing to buyers. Wanted to use the lightest bag possible! Jeans are pretty tough and these bags are weatherproof, should be all that you need. Go to auctionpax.co.uk and search for the grey mailing sacks. Would post a link for you but i can't for some reason.

I wouldn't use brown paper as it is fiddly and weighs surprisingly heavy. Like others have said plastic mailing sacks just like the catalogue companies use, I buy either on ebay or via anyone with an offer on after doing a google search and would expect to pay less than 10p per bag for a mid sized clothes bag.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Go you your local PO and ask for a load of large SD bags.
Just turn them inside out and hey presto, heavy duty postage bags free of charge.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
Good idea! Curious though, what's an SD bag?0

Cheeky but clever! :beer:0 -
Be careful though many POs will not accept them, neither my small PO nearby nor the two crown ones I use will take them and say that even inside out you either pay for SD or you don't use their bag.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Never, ever had an issue, ever.
I use them in the same POs I get them from. They couldn't care less.Terms & Conditions Apply0
