The bloke said he could see it was still on pending but he'd remove it so should be back tomorrow at the latest - yipee!
It had to be Burns really though considering they are using his image on lots of the homecoming stuff. DS was telling me what he'd learned about St Andrew today on the way home " He was a fisherman", "he was born in um, erm, Greece or maybe Russia or was it Israel", "bits of him are buried under a church in erm, well, some where"... I despair! did he listen to any of it or was there a lovely tune going on in his head. Father Dougal has nowt on him
.
P.S. I suppose he did get the fisherman bit right!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

oh bum - laptop seems to be gubbed:mad:... battery and power issues and I don't think it's cheaply fixable... mind you it is about five now so it's had a good innings!
in other news I am scunnered with the school who seem to be sending slip after slip demanding money for various things at the time of year that everyone has lots of other money pressures - arrggghhh:mad:!
and also I walked passed a house last night - v rundown but nice house in nice street and thought "oooo, when that comes up for sale that would be a good buy..." and it's up for sale TODAY:eek::eek:!!!! I shouldn't even have thought about it till next year:rotfl::rotfl:... so now I'm wondering how much I can scrimp on:rolleyes:...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Completely agree about the schools, my two are in different schools and it is literally every day a letter comes home. It would be interesting to see how much it all adds up to over a term! xxxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
