As for the balance between "new kitchen" and "less mortgage" - that would depend on "how bad is your kitchen" and "how much are you paying for your mortgage".

If you can get mortgage free, then that would probably ease your finances.

Kitchen REALLY bad:D! 1970s I think although cooker looks 50/60s... I won't be able to get mortgage free while studying and I won't be able to move either so I really need to make the most of this place I think:D Kitchen is last big job...

Are you going to rip it all out? Wall coverings included? Or are you just going to do doors and cooker?

Depends on the sizing. I start at "couch potato", but sometimes require "lard arse".

It'll be a new trend. Like ripped jeans were a few years ago.

So the weekend is here again! Found myself reading stuff for college - whoops :o not exactly rock n roll...

Must do a list for the weekend, DS has agreed that tomorrow is close enough to Christmas to start watching the Christmas films:santa2::xmastree::xmassign:

Any tips on making a tax disk holder stick to the windscreen or should I just give in and buy a new one?

Didn't do the Aldi thing but only spent about £20 this week and that included a pressie for one of my neighbours;)

Depends on the kind. First, empty out the cwt of old taxdisks that have accumulated inside. Second, lick it like you mean it. Third, slap it on the windscreen and squish it around a little. Then wait.

If you do it tonight, the ice should stick it on.

Is that similar to Doing the Hustle?
