Nationwide Credit Card Interest Increase

As from 4th May Nationwide are increasing their interest rate to 14.9%. I currently have a card with them with quite a large balance and have had it for several years. Just wondering if anyone had any tips on reducing the interest amount perhaps by threatening to leave etc.
