help please

Hi,

I appreciate the "Financial Hardship" debate and what not. But I need some advice please as to wheter you think I can make a claim, even if I have to wait for the result of the outcome in court!!

I've had debts and overdrafts- exceeded them. I'm with HSBC and need to know if I could ever reclaim these?

Charge Recalls- Standing Order & Direct Debits
£25 (02/11/07)
£25 (09/05/08)

Interest whilst being overdrawn:
16.28- Nov 07
24.51- Dec 07
3.73- Jan 08
0.12- Sep 08
0.46- March 09
4.96- April 09
7.01- May 09
6.78- June 09

Overdraft- Notified Fees/Charges
125- Nov 07
100- Dec 07
25- August 08
150- April 09
125- May 09
100- June 09

Sorry as i imagine, this has been talked about many a times, but I really don't know!!

I've paid off my overdrafts & loans to date, but would be nice to know if I can have a claim?

Regards.

    Notified fees/charges YES
Charge Recalls: are they debits or credits?
Interest YES and NO. You can claim interest on the charges but did you have an overdraft on the account?

Charge recalls are cheques d/d that bounced so i was charged £25 each time.

Interest was based on within the limit and over the limit.

Can I claim charges on my overdraft when i exceeded my overdraft limit, which is the larger amounts? I.E. all those charges were incurred as I was over my £300 limit, charged £25 each transaction over £300.00.

    Thanks

You can claim the recalls one but you can only claim interest on the charges and not on your overdraft as that is legitimate interest.
