Last year i finished University where i studied Computer Science. In the course i studied Java, ASP.net and C (Mainly Java and JSP). But quite frankly i was very very bad at it and the programming modules pulled my final grade down because i just sucked at them. Anyway, i feel i can do it and learn with the right guidance. Can anyone suggest a programming language that is something that i could learn with lots of tutorials/support along with good free IDE's.
thanks

Microsofts own Visual Studio Express is free. Do a search on free Visual Basic download and the Microsoft site should be somewhere near the top.It comes with all the buttons and gizmos pre-loaded and all you have to do is add the code to tell them to do what you want.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
Not being funny, but when you look beyond the syntax, these programming languages are just ways of representing information processing on a Von Neumann machine.
Unless you have a mental model of the principles behind this, you'll struggle as a programmer. Get a copy of "Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs" by Wirth which was the first book I read about 'serious' programming or the more recent "Code: The Hidden Language of Computer Hardware and Software" by Petzold.0
