Help Please,
Purchased the lease on our current property in November 2005, we are trying to sell the lease back to the Housing Association.
Our lease clearly states that the discount repayment period for the property is 3 years.
I am aware that the law changed in Jan 2005 to a 5 year discount repayment period and this is the law that the Housing Association is trying to enforce.
Can this be enforced when our lease clearly states that if we sell the property within the 1st 3 years we will have to repay a portion of the discount?
