A warning re: "FREE" claims companies

If any of you received a pm from someone advertising a "Free" claims company then ignore it, this company is another trading name of "Investor Compensation" who I can assure you are NOT free.
These companies claim they are free because they try and claim their fees from the lender, but in many cases the lender does not pay these fees because the customer does not have to use the claims company in order for them to investigate their complaint.
The claims company then has to claim the fee from the customer or they don't get paid.

Is this Company run by someone who regularly posts on this forum?0 -
The person who emailed me was a newbie but that doesn't mean they can't keep re-registering under new names, they may have posted before.0

In your opinion will any company offering a "free" service land you with a bill if they don't win the case & are there any true free services?0

Some companies do after the event insurance which they then use to claim the fees with as i understood. Someone on here used to mention this. All the fees then are levied onto the lender????????? Have you ever heard of this melorablack. I think I know who you are on about and it was someone that was pming people on here. I think maxdp and showergirl had pm's and mentioned this earlier. I do know that there are lots on here that do this regular as well. Perhaps just ignore it.0

If anyone is touting for business via pm the pm should be reported to abuse via the report triangle on the pm.0

We have one regular poster who promotes his business on here quite often as the only ethical free claims company & PM's anyone who questions him on his ethics, he is very pushy.0
