Car Tax and the Budget

Apologies if something along these lines has already been posted.
In the recent budget some rates of car tax actually came down. If you are in one of these bands then you can cash in your old tax disc and get a new one at the lower rate. Your not going to make enough to retire off but it’s better in our pocket than theirs.
I found this tip on the DVLA website so there is no reason at all why this cannot be done. Check it out. Go to the DVLA website then Vehicles, then Budget 2005 - Changes to the cost of vehicle tax.
