Furniture123

I found a desk that I wanted to buy but it was cheaper from a different online company. Furniture123 advertise a price match service so I emailed to ask if they could match the cheaper price of £166.16

They replied saying they would price match but I would have to order over the telephone. I replied to this email (which contained all the information of my whole enquiry) to ask if I could still use their current promotion of 5% online discount. I received an email stating that if I ordered I could still use this even though it would be a telephone order.

When I called I was told that the price was £166.98... and that I could not use the 5% dicount promotion. I stated that I had two emails stating a price match (in my opinion £166.16) and that I could also have a 5% discount. Their employee told me that the information I had been given was wrong!

And? I'm waiting for the punchline, the payoff...

A polite letter has been written to the managing director regarding this matter and a suggestion that customer services supply both correct and consistent information to customers via email.

    Nuns! Nuns! Reverse!

'I do my job, do you do yours?'

  • No... more than 82p
£8.30 infact and the principle that they agreed to both the price match and the 5% discount then 5 mins after the last email they refused it!

Kavanne would you rather have £320 for your holiday or £328.30???
