How does increasing the limit make you spend?

I have just had my limit raised and also negotiated 4% off the apr. Could there be something adverse going on in your credit files? I would suggest getting a copy of each and checking it out.

I got a letter from Halifax today.

From August, variable rate changes to 9.93% with the same rate for cheques and BT's.

It has gone down from 15.9%.

No promtions active so this is my new variable rate. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me as I pay in full monthly but a very competitive rate anyway.
