Because its only beta many addons still arent ready for 3.5. I downloaded it a week ago but have reverted back to the earlier version for now.

Just downloaded and installed, for some reason it won't find any websites, keep getting the 'page cannot be displayed' error. Yet IE works fine and if I un install 3.5 and go back to 3..0.11, it works perfectly. Odd. Think I'll stick to 3.0.11 until all the add ons I use are compatible with 3.5, then try installing again.

Had persistant Crashing with FF, now use Google Chrome.

I wouldn't say it it a "milestone" release that some people claim, but there are a lot of nice new or improved features.

    See: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features/

Thanks for the link fermi, I have now learned some cool things that were avalible on previous versions but I didnt know they were there. Thanks ever so :j

I've used ff for years, not had a problem with crashing with any of the 3. versions. I did back on 2.0. but the 3 update sorted those. I'll just wait until the next update and hopefully the add ons will be supported. If when I do update it still won't display pages I'll try and figure out why then.

It would be nice if you could find out in advance if your extensions all worked in a new version.

I ttok the plunge this morning and admittedly all but one of my extensions worked and there is an experimental version that'll do in the meantime.

It does seem better than 3.1, at least scrolling a long web page is, not stuttering at all
