Car insurance - additional driver unemployed

Hi everyone,
I just wanted some advice - my partner has been unemployed since January and he is on my car insurance policy as an additional driver.
My insurance is due for renewal - will his unemployment cause the policy to go up? I'm still in full time employment. I know other articles say "househusband" might mean they'd not be an increase but as we're not married does this count?
My insurance is with Sheilas Wheels.
He was previously listed as working in the Manufacturing and Engineering trade (he was a swimming pool engineer).
Thanks!

Do some virtual quotes on line and play around with unemployed/household manager/etc and see what difference it makes.0

im unemployed and female having just passed my test. me added to my oh's insurance has acutally lowered it by the grand total of £10.
think it might have been more if he had said i was a housewife but never mind.Debt free 3 years early :j
Savings for house deposit - very healthy
Cash back earnt so far £14.570 -
Some Insurers have the ability to show your husbands employment status as "Unemployed" but his normal line of employment eg Forklift Driver. This can mean the premium does not change or the change is minimal0

I wouldn't expect a change automatically and no real change in premium.
