Anyone any ideas on cheap turf in the North West??

Really not a good time to lay turf right now!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Good afternoon: We turfed our lawn in July 2005 out of necessity during a heatwave and it grew a treat....took a great deal of prep and lots of topsoil...watered only at night/v.early morning using harvested water;)

We got ours from a place called cheshire turf, the cheapest we could find, i will try and find their details and pot them for you.

try these guys, they were well priced a couple of months ago but the prices vary from week to week.
