When a child reaches 18

If he claims JSA then there should be no further liability as child benefit will indeed cease. Check your court order, it should say at what age your liability stops. Some go on to state whilst in education which would include university, others state a particular birthday.0

Thanks for the help. Will check court order. Help is still needed for his board anyway so we'll either carry on paying to his mum if he lives there or sort something out with his GF's mum if there.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a question for Kellogs
If a child works during the summer break before they go to uni - how many hours can they work or how much money can they earn ? Does the PWC have to declare this to CSA / CBO ?
What if they are working for cash in hand ?0 -
What happens in this regard if the child works before starting University?0
