Bank have defaulted me

I had a letter from the bank today, welll a solicitor instructing me to pay all the money owing and they have registered a default against me. I wouldn't mind but I sent them a hardship letter back in Jan which they choose to ignore and the overdraft is made up of their charges. I have a claim ongoing, which they seem to want to forget and ignore. I know everyone has to wait untill after their latest stalling effort. But I can't beleive the check of it when they are ignoring my hardship. Sorry should say I am on benefits and was paying them £100 per month last year untill I became ill. Trouyble was they were charging more than that in intrtest.

In fairness no it wasn't, so I suppose they can say they never received it. However I have had a reply acknowledgeing receipt of the 1 st letter claiming hardship then nothing from them since. That was back in JanuryI used to be me !! what happened

In that case write back to them again and this quantify why you are in financial hardship and how it occurred. In fairness no it wasn't, so I suppose they can say they never received it. Add in an income and expenditure form for good effect:

Thanks for this natweststaffmember,
Sorry for bursting into your thread veggyboy, hope you don't mind, but we are in the same position as yourself more or less.
Lloyds TSB are not very lenient.
My hubby lost his job and we have for now until he returns to new employment paying token payments, only started this last month.
To be honest I have sent lloyds TSB over 15 letters in the last fortnight as they seem to be ignoring our matters as well.
We sent them token payments, enclosed with that was the budget information, the copy of the letter of the mortgage arrears.
We explained that I do not work either as I care for my autistic son full time, hubby lost his job, and we are currently in arrears with the mortgage which is critical and an ongoing matter with trying to sort this out right now.
I have high BP and hubby depression, we are both on medications.
So far Lloyds TSB have been so unfair, just after missing one payment, they still taken and obviously accepted the token payments, then by 3 weeks after the loan was due, we were sent a default notice for the one loan, and said we have until the 9th July to pay the arrears of one month, then today we received a solicitors letter.
So damn annoying, none of them listen.
I have as well complained to the complaints dept and the senior manager, we cancelled the direct debits last month as directed by CCCS a debt organisation and they still managed to take out the payment which was my son's Disability living allowance, I complained and they did put that back, hence being in the overdraft etc.
Sorry this is so long, but thought I would add what we have been putting up with as well, they are pathetic and so glad that I have opened a new bank account elsewhere which has no part of lloyds.
Good luck with this.
Our letters were not sent by recorded delivery either. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
