Going to California for hols. (v exciting!). Would like some ideas on what to do in the evening in Los Angeles. Taking 2 sons age 15 and 20. They are very into music. Need something they will enjoy and which is cheap.

I'd recommend the magic castle hotel - just one block from the Hollywood Strip and subway - huge rooms, reasonable cost, very safe, swimming pool - look at the reviews on trip advisor!

we stayed @ The Hollywood Hills Hotel which is a extension of the Magic Castle . they are like Apartments ( some are actually still rented apartments )

okay rather than great rooms , but the location is excellent .

staying at either the Magic Castle or HHH will allow you entry to the Magic Castle club which is only open to members of the Magic circle .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

We've got somewhere to stay. We are at the Sportsmen's lodge near Universal. I was looking for something to do in the evening.
