  • I have had an acknowledgment of my S A R from Paragon stating they would provide me with the information within 40 days. I shall wait to see what they send me....
  • I tried to post a link to the documents I have received but get a message telling me that as a 'new' member I can't post links. Any advice or help would be appreciated - thanks.

I will also say a very BIG GOOD LUCK to all Paragoners, as I have been trying to get my PPI back for over a year now (after complaining about it when I redeemed the loan back in 2004). One of the guys here has been really helpful and my case is now with a specialist claims management firm, as it will probably have to go to Court. I am not exactly hopeful, but sincerely hope that justice prevails. Fingers crossed. xxx
  • It appears that I have not been given all the information I requested. I have received a statement of payments, the payslip I submitted, a form from Loanmakers without signature but with my details, the credit agreement with paragon logo and signed by someone on behalf of paragon, the mortgage deed/charge. The letter states that there are some things which they are not obliged to send to me such as payments and commissions made to third parties.

I would have liked to have posted the docs I have received but it seems not to be possible. Anyhow if anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. I think it may be time to call in the professionals.

I found out today that my PPI reclaim is now against Bespoke Finance and NOT Paragon as I first thought (and have thought for the last 5 years!). Knowing that they are based in Gibraltar, I suspect that this is going to be a complex episode.......

Get in touch with FOS but they may ask you first to complain to Bespoke. They may be able to make the lender or insurer responsible. No promises though. Its a new thing and some have resubmitted complaints in cases like this. Let us know what they say.

    Good luck
