Hello
Just thought I would share my experience with others.
I am switching from Virgin to Talk Talk essentials and am getting a new line installed for £60.
I put my phone number and postcode into the Talk Talk website checker to see if I could get the package and it said I needed a new line to be installed (I knew this already).
I then rang them and put an order in for a new line.
A few days later I got a call from TT to asked why I hadn't joined. Told him I had, he asked what I paid for the new line. To cut a long story short, if I had waited to be called before ordering the line I would have got it for half price! £29.99
Have tried to get that price and they have put a note on my account requesting it, but I'm not holding my breath.
So if you're thinking of getting a new line with Talk Talk put your phone number into their website and then wait for a few days, you could get it half price.
