  • HI, I booked one of these holidays for my family of three, so had to pay extra place as it is a four person minimum. There was a £2 booking fee, so £62. I knew that I would have to pay some additional costs from the site I chose, however I was shocked when the bill came this morning. It was for a further £65.80. This is more than the initial fee. I was lead to believe that it would be a lot lower than this. I just wanted to make people aware of this before they book one of these holidays. I was not shown how high these additional costs were, before I booked. My £15 holiday is actually a £127.80 holiday. That's £31.95 per night. I could get a room in a travel lodge for less! Be warned.
  • Hi - here are the passwords for the 2011 Dail Mail £15 holidays promotion:
Laugh, Swim, Dance, Cycle, Play, Explore, Sing.
Some quite good deals, Sunparks stuff in Belgium saves you a lot of money.

And depending on where and when you go, you can get a holiday for this price all in.
  • Booked a 3 night stay in Sands le mere, 4 people £42. (early march) Seems a bargain unless im hit with high entertainment/service charges. Also didnt specify the kind of accomodation just said caravan. Has anyone been to this park before ?
  • which bit do you want? the "save your money" bit or the "worst place I've ever been" bit :(
-hope you have transport as the "site" is in the middle of nowhere
-try to ignore the scrapyard at the end of the road
-taste a little bit of history in the shop.....staff and stock from 1964
-evening entertainment is a couple of teenage kids with a cd player
Me and 3 children went there 3 summers ago.........dire! It's ok as a base if you don't actually want to do anything there! Caravan was fantastic though! Was a mainly residential caravan site set around a pub, shop, cafe and a pool. Beach is close.....sadly nothing else is!
