I'm sure some of you have bought a MJ Package - ticket and sundry others that bumped the price. Now if you are only being offered a refund of the ticket and expected to go through with the extras, here's how I got a full refund.
The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, Section 12[a] states that the purchased is entitled to withdraw from the contract 'without penalty' if a significant part of the package is cancelled.
I first informed the agent of my claim for a full refund and then similarly claimed on my credit card company. Not withstanding that the former ignored me and the later refused, I eventaully persuaded the Finacial Ombudsman of the right of my claim.
