Charity poster advice needed.

I have made a poster after receiving some advice from a mate who used to design posters many years ago. Basically he told me to make it personal so folk can identify with me and put in the basic details and don't over do the colour. He also said that it's a good idea to have some contact details on a poster just incase someone wants to offer their help.
Anyway, here is what I have come up with...

(obviously that's a small version of it)
Any suggestions or advice about the poster would be helpful.
Also, I want to have it printed at A4 size, about 50 of them, and was wondering if anyone knows the best place to get them done. Obviously the less I have to spend the better.
Thanks folks.

that particular image, being quite 'heavy' might make the printing costs more, but that's all I can think offor more info check out www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk . You'll find me there.
New Year's Resolution: Post less unnecessary posts. (and that was 2007)
yes, I realise I may appear cold and heartless a lot of the time.0 -
If my memory serves me correctly, I think you will find that with it being charity related, you have to have the registered charity number on it somewhere?0

I agree with Shane.
Plus, my preference with posters has always been bright (very bright!) paper with black ink on it. But maybe that's just the way my eye works: when I am looking at a range of posters in the local shops, the ones which stand out to me are the ones with bright paper, not the ones with multicoloured printing or images.
And that's usually cheaper too.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thank you for your thoughts and advice folks, much appreciated. If my memory serves me correctly, I think you will find that with it being charity related, you have to have the registered charity number on it somewhere?
I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks for pointing it out, it could have meant a lot of time wasted getting the poster reprinted.
I've contacted the NSPCC and JustGiving and got their approval to use their logos, I also clarified the charity number thing too. lol
I've fine tuned the poster and this is what I am going to use.
I decided that I wanted it printed on glossy paper so have decided to use Foto.com, it works out a bit expensive at 35p per poster (at A4 size) but I think it will help it stand out in shop windows and I know that the print quality at Foto.com is excellent.
Thanks again for your help folks.0 -
remember to make it high quality (300 DPI and CMYK) or the quality will be poor and the colours may not come out just right.
In the future, for those needing more copies then RCS is great. They also give a 40% charity discount (you have to be a registered charity).
Also, Servicepoint's around London are pretty good and may well give you a discount if you know you are working for a charity.
Just a bit of extra info.0
