Grandma, you need to load the picture somewhere else and then just link to it here, there's no facility for uploading them onto MSE. Do you have a Flickr or Facebook or Photobox or other similar account or even some free webspace you could use?

CW hope your DD & GDs are ok.
Just heard that my hot tub friend's son is also a suspected case, and I was there last night

He is a fit strapping 17 yr old, and only went to the doctor as he's had a sore throat and been slightly under the weather past few days. He said it was a nightmare at the GP surgery, there is a line on the fl
oor leading to reception which you can't cross until you've washed your hands with a special gel. They've removed all leaflets, magazines and kiddies toys from the waiting room, and they told him off for going to the surgery. It had never entered his head that it could be swine flu, as he often suffers from sore throats.

He's been told to stay in the house for next 48 hours, then ring if not better - a tall order for an extremely active, sports mad teenager!
I'm now on standby as his flu friend, hoping I won't be needed.

Homemade pasta, cool Nyk! I'd love to make fresh pasta.
Afternoon sounds lovely SFT. I did about your CA GC, good luck with that! We'll be budgeting as best we can too, will need to wait until we're there to set a food budget.
Sorry to hear about your family CW, and your friend's son lingo. Hope you both stay okay!

Been an expensive day here - the vet came round this morning and saw to all the animals and we've had the electrician in all day sorting things (including live wires ) for the certificate so I have't even been able to have shower yet today :o Went to visit a lovely friend this afternoon who gave me 2 lettuce, swede, green beans and courgettes from her garden :T I can't wait to grow our own next year! She's about a year ahead of us lifewise so has lots of tips veg and family related :T

OH is out riding tonight so now I finally have the house to myself I may actually get a few jobs done, including sending off for my TAB winnings ;)

Have a great evening everyone x

my DD is most concerned about a visitor she had at the weekend.... an ex-colleague called over (for about half an hour) with her daughter, but she's only 4 weeks old

Wow thats a lot of bottles Grandma! :T:T

lingojingo - I hope your friend's son is ok and doesn't go completely stir crazy.

Same goes for anyone else with swine flu - there seem to be loads on here with it or know someone who has it... Is anyone making sure they have enough of everything in if they have to be quaranteined? I know I have enough food in my cupboards to last a long while (months probably :o) but I may stock up a bit on frozen/tinned fruit (already have loads of frozen veg) as thats what would run out pretty quickly... Oh and some lemsip! :rotfl:
