    Evening everyone.

Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes. I suppose now is the time to make the best of the time he's got left, and hope that this is years, not months. I've been doing research on what happens, and most of the statistics say that with the hormone injections, most of the patients live for several more years, so I guess that's something.

I think I've caught the lurgy from the bf  i can't stop sneezing, and feel really ache-y and just not myself, so that's another thing! At least this means I haven't been able to go anywhere, and so today is nsd no 3 for me in september :) only 10 to go! :) not sure how tomorrow will go, but i've got nothing planned but things can come up as we all know :)

I have read everything, but can't really remember what everyone has said :o

    sf xx

In case people who grow veg haven't noticed this in the freebies section, this site http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk is giving you a free pack of seeds for signing up to their newsletter. I've just asked for some fennel!

    Thank you Lynda,

I have asked for some courgette seeds. I've not much to say tonight, I got the washing started, but it is all hanging on clothes horses as the weather is terrible (and the dryer is broken...........still, it is moneysaving).

Hope the wedding goes well Nyk, I'll give you a wave when I pass thru D & G. Fingers crossed for it staying dry.

I've to work at my job tomorrow, driving to Preston, so the girls are doing the shop.

    Speak later everyone. xx

Thinking of Nyk and family today - hope it all goes well, and that the rain holds off (at least when you need it to!)

But only Nyk could get a wedding guest to bring a chicken with them - had to chuckle when I read that :rotfl: Speaking of which, I hope all the guests arrived safely after the traffic problems........

Thanks guys, just popping on quickly to say all guests arrived safely, chicken now settled into shed temporarily awaiting safe introduction to others tomorrow and we just learned that the car rally is being flagged off just a few hundred yards from reception venue (It's stage 7 of the Scottish rallying championships, our local carpark by Sa!nsbury's is commandeered as a pit stop.) I've succeeded in missing the chaos in town the past 6 event but there's certainly no avoiding it today - I just hope the town isn't completely closed off or else the guests will all be walking to find the bus to church! :rotfl:

Catch up after the big event, have a good weekend. (It's raining here!)

Gosh a few days away and I am now 10 pages behind. Cant stop to read it all. Start again on pg 70 when I have a break.!!

  • Good Morning all
Sorry I've been MIA again, big hugs to those in need. As anyone who reads my blog will know life has been very stressful at work & I have had no time to price meals or do anything much other than pop painkillers at regular intervals. I hope regular service will be returned soon. The only good thing is that I did have a few HM ready meals in the freezer so we have eaten well without resorting to take aways.
