How do I compare Essentials tariff on websites?

Hi,
We're on the old British Gas Essentials tariff for both Gas and Electricity and are moving in a month. BG have said we can take the tariff with us, but obviously we want to check it's still the best deal for us.
Only problem is it's not listed on comparison sites, so how can we check? It's not like they have 'insert my own custom figures' options.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi I asked exactly the same questionIve given you the link above. Basically you can't compare it. but check with joyful.
However, since the essentials tariff is about 40% cheaper than any other tariff, you arent going to beat it. (BG said this to me though)
In the thread above though Ive been exploring whether or not it is worth going through cashback sites before going to BG. Ive decided to do that but I havent worked out whether or not the weeks spent swapping over and thus on a more expensive tariff than the essentials cancels out the advantage of the cashback.0 -
The important thing is it is NOT transportable. You will have to be reassessed to the new criteria. There are now 3 levels of support so not all can get the lower tariff. It is the same tariff as websaver 3.
