Want to rent a villa in Spain

Hope you can help me help my friend!

She is a family of 6 and is wanting to go away in the 6 weeks hols, so a private villa rent will probably be the cheapest. She is only wanting to go somewher in Spain i.e 2ish hour flight away as husband not in great health (if need to come back) and prefferably not to far from the airport as do not want to hire a car.

Can you reccomend some villas that you may of stayed in or websites?? Also resorts that fit the criteria above.

Hi there, not sure about specific villas as we have always stayed in menorca and not sure if that might be a little too far (only 2.5 hours though? and cheap flights with jet2.com). However both times we have used the website ownersdirect.co.uk, where owners post adverts of their villas/houses/apartments. it's easy to do a search for say "4 bed, spain, pool" and then order the results by price to pick the most appropriate. Also there tends to be a lot of photos on each advert which makes a decision easier.

We used them for our stay in Malaga last Christmas. Filter through the countries,areas and add some dates, tick the box for last minute discount, see what comes up.

If you want three bedrooms instead of sleeps 6, I'd put sleeps 8 in, as a lot of Spanish accommodation sleeps 6 but 2 bedrooms and with 2 in a sofa bed.;)
