empire stores lost orders help

tried to order from their sale at beginning of december, online. this order was then missed which i found out after chasing their customer services. re-ordered by phone but they have now lost that order as well, at the time of ordering they had been unwilling to give me a delivery date justsaying it will be with you within 14 days.
help as i am now without a combined christmas and wedding present for my future wife (we fly out to get married on boxing day).
these firms do not deserve to be still trading.
