Hi
A friend of mine has an Epson Stylus Coulour 740, and asked me to see if i could have a llok at it as it wasn't working.
Basically, at first - the "status" was "idle" - after messing about with it (won't claim that i attempted to fix it!) the status no longer was just "idle" it sent print jobs to the printer but wouldnt print anything.
Jobs would just form in the queue. The printer works - i did a test print and it's fine.
Any ideas as to how to fix it? I unintalled and re-installed it and no joy.
Thanks

Check he has only 1 printer installed on his system... Sometimes a duplicate can be installed but wont work... Also check the application you are printing from has the printer set as the default0

They already tried that... It says so in thier original post0 -
Was it the same item that was being sent to the printer each time ?, occassionally a malformed document will just lock up the print queue, and if it was the same document each time ...I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
