Hi guys
New to these forums really, i know someone will be able to help with my query
I am on a DMP and am trying to get a replacement car relatively cheap. Im pretty certain I wont get finance for it given my circumstance but if I can offer a guarantor would that be acceptable in most cases?
Thanks in advance

Debt management plan
And brillant. Get on a DMP then buy an expensive car.
Its time that courts crack down on !!!!takers like this.
Plenty of cheap cars around. buy one of them, or get public transport.0 -

Thats not what I said... I said a cheap replacement car. I need a car for work, my current one costs me £192 per month on finance and i would rather halve that and pay the rest to my DMP
Thanks for the assumptions anyway0 -
The chances of you being able to get rid of it without a major loss is unlikely. Secondly car finance at half that cost is unfeasible unless you want to buy an old car over five years and be paying finance on a 10 year old car.0

I think ive got bases covered on recovering my costs... its literally just getting a different motor... if i could afford to go out and pay cash of course i would, but then i wouldnt be looking to cut costs if i had cash!0

save up 1000 and buy a decent cheap simple car, get out of debt before taking on more0
