PCN came in the post, no ticket on my car

HI,

Coventry city council have issued me with a ticket. However their was no ticket on my car. My argument is that tickets can be paid off at 50% in the first 14days, however i was denied this oppurtunity either because they didn't stick it to my car or some fool ran off with it. Have i got the right to ask for photographic evidence. I odnt mind paying if im in the wrong, it's just that im really careful with parking, and i routinely park in the same place that i got the ticket.

Thanx for your help in advance.

Regards JP

You don't need a ticket on the car anymore, but I would ask for photo evidence.

It's possible that the original ticket was removed by someone.

What exactly have you received, OP?

It's a penalty charge notice for £50, i will ask for a photo. Bet one of the school kids ripped it off. JP

If you post photos of the ticket (all of it) up here, someone can advise you on the wording, in the meantime.

You can't get a 'PCN' for the full amount in the post without, in your circumstances, a discount chance of 21 days.

I suspect it more likely you have an NtO.

My time is very limited and can't check back often. Take it to PePiPoo forum where you will get expert advice. I have never seen a legally compliant Coventry PCN yet.

Why bother to dig up old posts just to have a dig at another member, its not in the spirit of MSE. It looks like the OP has given up anyway so the point is moot.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Your not another Perky in diguise. Or maybe Trolling.:mad:
Best keep your opinions about other MSE members to yourself.

Neil has helped alot of people on here and his experience was to go to another site and discuss it there.

How do you possibly think that he can help in anyway when there are not pictures of the ticket.

Maybe when you get a ticket we will see how many people will help you. And ill be guessing Neil wont.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

    LOL.

Substantiate one single thing you have said?? Legislation in this case perhaps? Nope, thought not.

I'm quite happy that my credentials are fairly widely known. Sorry I can't let you have the scorecard.; the forum has a data limit.
